Grief (a short poem)

She was his life,
his love….his soul…
She left him with painful grief
alone in the deep sorrow…

He longs to find a way to be strong…
but the fact weakens him, she is gone .

He glances his photo of her smiling face..
then looks for solitude to escape…

Her laughter rings like a bell in his ears..
would fall apart in agony of missing her, he fears..

Shall summer’s sun bring new light…
and free his soul from this plight …

Will gentle breeze change the dark dark clouds away…
and show him path in a clear day..

For all the remaining part of his life..
He”ll miss her charming smiles..

She gave him the precious gift of love…
taught him the true essence of love..

He thought they would live together..
but she won’t be back, she has gone forever.
